although prolonged nitrous exposure (i.e., hooking yourself up to a tank with no one to 'spot' you and subsequently falling asleep) has lead to people almost dying from extreme vitamin B deficiency

there are a few stories online of people who managed to order a tank online impersonating dentists or w/e, and they went ape-shit with it (imagine using a whole tank of nitrous in 48 hours, they call it 'hippy crack' for a reason) and almost died
