it is on the contrary of not taking fiction seriously enough, do you think it's just a game? it is a reality it is more real than it appears to you for example people who play video games they adopt a screen persona as a sadist or rapist etc as in reality they are a weak person. so in order to supplement their personality they want to appear as a strong and permiscuous person. but what if we look at it in reverse and that this is really the person you are but due to social constraints you cannot project this personality because you cannot connect with others but in the virtual world you can be who you really and be much more truthful and much closer to your real self.
