The NRA doesn't actually spend much money on campaigns. The organization is very popular with voters so the NRA endorsement is certainly desired in working class & republican dominated areas because it gets votes, but there's not much MEA money spent on donations to candidates/sitting members.

This incident really didn't change anyone's mind in any meaningful way; the anti-freedom people are still anti-freedom and still dancing on graves to take away natural rights.
