marks, what's the latest fully upgradeable MacBook pro?

I bought 2 MacBook pro 2011 13" and maxed them out to 8gb + 500gb SSD.
What's the last year that's possible, before flip chip Ram and soldered on m.3 drives?

I'm trying to buy Intel Mac towers. I love that architecture. I maxed out 3 with 64gb Ram and filled all 4 HDD bays + SSD boot for the graphics studio at work and added video cards with external power supplies
great project t and about 700 bucks upgrade per. they're capable of 4k video now

yeah I'm familiar with the trashcan mac. the hole in the center is all cooling, for all I know it's a masterpiece of engineering but I'm hardly shocked no one bought one
