turns out this stock intel heatsink is a piece of shit, and all my crashes were temps going too high...
going to get a new heatsink that actually cools down, apply new paste, and ejaculate on my videocard whilst reading mein kampf and sieg heiling

what intel did to my dumb ass: gave me a factory overclocked CPU(K series are like that)
gave me a stock heatsink that is like 8 dollards at the store, couoldnt cool my ass
the default state of the CPU is too much for the stock heatsink to handle when using high demanding applications/games
never again will i use a stock heatsink...
when i replace the heatsink im going to probably put it back to 3.8 Mhz instead of 3.4...

been fucking around to see what this piece of junk can do now, i can only make it hit 4.4 Mhz at tops, doing short tests with a timer it heats up twice as fast than 3.4...

maybe, just maybe, i can keep it at 4.4 with an adequate heatsink and actually get good performance out of it.

never again will i overlook getting a decent heatsink, never again:9/11:

just did some video benchmarking from 3.4 Mhz and 4.4 Mhz, seriously doubled my FPS, watching the temps tho with this shitty stock heatsink hitting up to 89c(like 198325y81 farenheit)

89 C lmao thats maximum, I get 19-25 C due to my thermal paste method, it wont change temp during 2 years

the only time i use the imperial system is when measuring height or muh dick

there's no such thing as a factory overclocked cpu, they're marked for the speed they've been tested to reliably run at. this is your motherboard;s fault.
