now that I realize how amazing uefi bios is and how I can just install OS's on different ahrd drives and it just handles it all so perfeclty I'm less afraid to risk having my shit fuck up cause now I know also how to boot into safemode and do system restore it's super easy I love eufi just hold shift when clicking restart ugh fucking love microsft yo but I can't decide if I wanna just wait or not I really should just wait since this shit runs great fine and the new updates right now don't add much but I want them anyway cause I love mirosft

Microsoft introduced UEFI for x86-64 Windows operating systems with Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista Service Pack 1

The Linux kernel has been able to use EFI at boot time since early 2000,

HP-UX has used (U)EFI as its boot mechanism on IA-64 systems since 2002.

HP OpenVMS has used (U)EFI on IA-64 since its initial evaluation release in December 2003, and for production releases since January 2005.

The original EFI specification was developed by Intel and was used as the starting point from which the UEFI version(s) were developed. The goal of the organization is to replace the aging PC BIOS.
