DARPA ( http://www.darpa.mil ) has a section on their website with an inquiry form for US citizens to submit audio of human speech in any language and is processed, interpreted and/or translated, and the interpretation is returned for accessibility and/or educational purposes. ( http://dodcio.defense.gov/DoDSection508/Std_Stmt.aspx ) It is used for some sort of weird government accessibility requirement.
