i stopped usiing chrome because it was bloated as fuck and started crashing. i use firefox now. i'm thinking of going back to using ie6 or doing away with browsers altogether and using individual apps for each site i visit.

chrome is memory hungry but ram is dirt fucking cheap so who cares. in my experience it's been more stable than firefox and doesn't default to useless-ass yahoo as its search engine so that's 30 seconds I don't have to spend on configuration on every single install

i wish i could go back to using chrome, but i can't. i have 8gb of ram on this notebook and 16gb in my desktop and i've stopped using it on both. i guess that's too little for chrome's bloat.

It's using 3gb for me, but that's with a fuckton of tabs open and it does a good job of getting out of the way when other shit needs the ram.
