hello, i am clay. 4 and a half days ago, i deleted the user "general doli." immediately before doing this, i backed up the database. you have a choice to make. in three days, i will allow the votes cast here to bring him back, if sufficient. your options as i planned them are as follows.

1.) i can restore general doli to all of his former glory by simply uploading the database i saved from 4 days ago, which will be 7 days ago or 1 week in the future. but it will be missing all of your posts, all of your foibles, all of your messages, your ups, your downs, your changes, your glories from the future past week.

or

2.) the user will stay lost to the past, all of his messages and posts being placed under the guest moniker. but everyone else gets a small measure of relief.

It doesn't have to be one or the other. The general Doli guest posts can be replicated (manually if necessary) into a new account even if the timestamps aren't accurate but that would be too much work for staff so the general will have to suffer injustice.
