We certainly try to be like America yeah, but we are more like New Zealand than we are America. We don't have TSA agents groping us, we don't have the RIAA raping us, we don't have harsh weed laws, we don't pay for a GP consultation, we dn't have SOPA etc.

we don't have 'harsh weed laws' either in connecticut, if you get caught with an ounce or less you're given a fine never even have to go to court. it's a big country, the laws vary. the tsa thing is overblown and will be scaled back, however I am confident that australia has its own airport security. I'm pretty sure you pay a tax to the recording industry on every blank cd you buy. you don't pay $200 for a doctor's visit but you do pay ten times that in extra taxes so I'm not sure how that's free, and we don't have sopa either.
