Metro Spokane has a population of around 1,000,000. If you are seeking cities around that size with a music culture and urban feel, think places like New Orleans or Austin. Even Metro Omaha has more of a music culture and urban feel and is very close in size to Metro Spokane.

You would probably like Austin alot. You'd have both the southern and music culture there with excellent affordability just outside Austin and maybe even within it. Half of the original YTMNSFW members are in Texas with Austin centering around it. Austin definitely seems to be the ideal place for you.
