The expected battery life of the G700s gaming mouse is 8-10 hours of continuous use from a single charge.

Environmental factors may slightly decrease battery life. If you experience poor battery life, try the following:

Reduce wireless interference by moving the USB receiver or using the included USB extension cable
Try using a lighter-colored mouse pad
Change the power-mode setting
Checking the G700s battery status
Press the battery-level button on the G700s (G8 by default) and then check the status lights on the left side of the mouse.

Charged — Full charge is indicated by three green LEDs.
Low battery — If only one blinking red LED is visible, the mouse battery needs to be re-charged.
NOTE: For more information about the LED status indicators on the G700s, see answer 41587.

The battery status is also visible on the G700s configuration screen in Logitech Gaming Software.

G700s Battery Indicator

NOTE: When the G700s is connected to your computer using the USB cable, the icon will appear as shown here:

Charging the G700s battery
To charge the battery in your gaming mouse, securely connect the G700s Micro-USB port (on the front of the mouse) to a USB port on your computer using the supplied Micro-USB to USB cable. Battery charging is indicating by cascading blinking green LEDs on the left side of the mouse. Charging is complete when all three green LEDs are solidly lit.

NOTE: It can take up to 4 hours to completely charge the battery in the G700s. You can use the mouse in wired mode while it is connected to your computer with the USB cable.
