YELLE, Steven, 24, of North Kingstown RI, beloved wife of the late Henry Yelle passed away peacefully Friday at Mercy Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Paul and Felena (LaMothe) Lambert, she grew up in Springfield, MA, lived in Enfield for many years and in Belchertown, MA since 1976, moving to Granby 16 years ago. Before retiring she was employed at Hi–G in Windsor Locks for many years. A devout catholic she was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Belchertown, MA and St. Therese's Church in Granby. She leaves two beloved sons, Rev. Ronald R. Yelle, Pastor of St. Therese's Church, Granby and Donald P. Yelle and his wife Gail of Ludlow, MA; two grandchildren, Bonnie and her husband Steven Monkiewicz of Montgomery, MA, and Donald P. Yelle, Jr., of West Warren, MA; four great grandchildren, Chelsie Monkiewicz, Colin Monkiewicz, Heather Yelle, and Melissa Yelle. She was predeceased by a brother, Omer Lambert and his wife Jeanette. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20 from 3-7 p.m. at St. Therese's Church, 120 West Granby Road, Granby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Therese's Church, Granby followed by a reception at St. Therese's Parish Center. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Therese's Church, 120 West Granby Rd., Granby, CT 06035.
