I need to get some new hard drives and upgrade to windows 7 (still using vista on my desktop lmao)

i even have a free copy of 7 I got from school Im just too lazy

I also want to get a SSD as my primary drive and use my old drives for storage


are you putting your Steam installation on a storage drive or your SSD? my primary drive is 1 TB and I am alreayd out of room and I only have like 40% of my games installed

yeah, I put my steam installations on my 240 gb ssd.
my plan is to use the ssd for windows and games on, while using my 1tb for storage of videos, tv shows, and music.

I only ever really play a few games at a time, so I'll probably just keep tf2, skyrim, and bl2 installed and install others as needed.

So like 2 months ago I spent like 2 days tweaking to build the perfect samba4 domain controller for my network, SSO, roaming profiles, folder redirection, I could even control it from a windows box using the AD administrative tools. Now I've decided that zentayl would be easier to manage and I'm going to spend another 2 full days figuring out how to migrate all that shit to a new server. I'm going to an awful lot of work for a network with one person on it.

yes it is, I can get a pretty high end barebones kit from tigerdirect for like $300

yeah, see the last part of my sentence though, barebones kits dont come with monitors, etc.
