well i did not know u got a whole new computer ramen, that had windows 8 on it, i thought u upgraged from vista to 8 on your old computer,
windows 8 is fine, but i would not install it on purpose, since it's a pain in the ass to turn it back into windows 7
i dont even have any of the start menu shell bullshit stevey has, I just use stock windows 8 and its fine, most of the time when I need to find soemthing I just use file explorer anyways so losing a start menu doesnt bother me and thast literally the only "bad" thing about windows 8, in every other way it is the same as or superior to 7
yeah I don't really need the start menu either it's just what I use to bypass metro on boot, second life and ramdisk are pinned to my taskbar I'm all set
yeah I got a new laptop as an early birthday present from my husband...
now u just have to spend 3 months turning windows 8 into windows 7
