nerd question

i was given a "HP 'EliteBook' 8530w" laptop for my classes and have the option to buy it instead of returning for 150 dollhairs (+50 for a new battery)

is it worth keeping or should i just buy a newer one

Not bad specs for $150, depends on how beat up it is
