Yeah, I'm straight edge. No drinking, no drugs, no promiscuous sex, no smoking. My girlfriend? She's pretty much the exact opposite of this. Parties hard, gets drunk, smokes pot, etc. She also cuts. When I told her I was sXe and what it meant, she freaked. I love this girl, we've known each other since we were in diapers and were in love then...but every time she gets drunk, or gets high, or cuts she tells me and it tears my heart apart...help?
Does anyone else find it hard to be in a relationship with someone who isn't straight edge? I feel like a jerk when I get bothered by the fact that my girlfriend chooses to drink alcohol.
