my review of papa gino's toasted ravioli
the pasta shell is about twice as thick as it needs to be, which really makes a problem on the edges where it's crimped together and its 4x the thickness it needs to be. the taste of the pasta is ok, a little on the fatty side. but i think thats so it freezes well. the beef or pork meat on the inside is of a poor quality and it's overly salted to make up for that. all you really taste is salt. the lamb filling, however, seems to be sourced from a different supplier and is not only fresh but seasoned reasonably well. the cheese is a non starter as papa gino fries it for possibly 8 minutes and it's all exploded out by the time it's taken out and sent off. the dry herb and spice mix that they sprinkle on the outside is on point and almost makes up for the lack of quality elsewhere... almost. i give "papa gino's meat and cheese stuft ravioli extravaganza" a 3 out of 10, their service a 7 out of 10, and their delivery times a 10 out of 10 but no tip
