You know if you get favours from people they like you more. I read this psychology thing. For example if someone lends or gives you money they rationalise it to themselves by saying to themselves "I did them that favour because I like them." So essentially the more you use someone the more they naturally psychologically like you more because of the need to rationalise it to themselves as them doing you a favour because they like you.
So I don't know but at the end of the day the more you do right by people the more they think you owe them, the more you just suck up all you can from people the more they like you.
