my computer and i are butting heads tonight, its fucking doing shit and im getting pissed at it, all of a sudden the display just shuts off, almost like it went into sleep mode or something. I pressed the power button and it made a fast noise like doing that shut it off, but everything came back on again immediately
so that got me pissed and i yanked the power cord out of the back of the power supply and plugged it in moments later, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT. ITS THE SAME GOD DAMN SCREEN I WAS AT. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON
THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE
IF EVERYTHING SUDDENLY DOESNT HAVE POWER GOING TO IT, THE PROCESSOR'S CACHE BECOMES CORRUPT, THE RAM BECOMES CORRUPT, AND YOU REBOOT THE MACHINE AND WAIT EXTRA LONG AS EVERYTHING DECORRUPTS

what stores everything temporarily in sleep mode? Ram? if the second power quits going to everything, how is it stored ANYWHERE?
