by the way barry I haven't used the free version of vmware lately but last time I did virtualbox had a lot more functionality
last time I used the free workstation software was when they first started calling it 'vmware player'. I've used the free server product within the last few months, I was underwhelmed.
paid version does have some pretty kickass features, but I can script most of them with kvm and libvirt and it doesn't cost me a dime.
like you said its free to make features yourself and add them to something with open source code but big business would rather a software that they can complain to if they have a prblem
it depends on teh n eeds of the bsuiness
thanks cam
in a no support contract you do get to charge them right?
whether I am fixing something that I designed or contacting cisco on their behalf I am charging them
nice, sounds about right.
how was it for you doing your cisco chapter exams?
i find that their curriculum is very drawn out and not straight to the point sometimes its like an asian wrote it
I never received any training in IOS everything I know I taught myself via google
