No music allowed anywhere in psych, makes it too hard for the nurses to hear all the screaming and crying.
There are no happy medicines, only dissociatives. The lucky patients get seroquel in a cup. The unlucky ones get haldol in a cup. The uncooperative ones get a shot of thorazine or stellazine in the ass and get sent to the "display case" while everyone else raids your clothes for quarters for the phone.

the drugs stopped working and i had a big fucking problem in the middle of work
it sounds awful but it doesn't have to be. i had a better outlook on life because i was all gung-ho about getting clean and made friends with the all the patients who were cognizant and relatively sane and cried a bit when i had to leave them behind to head to rehab
