i remeber telling monde that plugging cat5 cables into routers is not that hard 2 and marco must have brought that home with him cause he needed the geek sqaud to set up his home network
honestly if you're setting up new stuff you should really be using cat6 or at very least cat5e
pretty sure i have one cat5 cable left in my whole house going from my modem to my wireless router
802.11ac is supposed to be finalized this year and there's already devices on the market using it, wireless gigabit is going to kill off a good chunk of the cabling industry
I considered putting a 10Gb link between my servers but I didn't feel like spending fucking $700 on an unmanaged switch so I can move my torrented movies around a little faster
