Nick Claxson, Managing Director
Nick is Managing Director of Comtec and is responsible for overseeing all management decision making within the organisation. Nick has headed Comtec since its humble beginnings as an IT consultancy in the 1990’s and works closely with his management team to formulate strategies designed to continually drive Comtec forward.
David Magnusson, Finance Director
As Finance Director, David plays a major role in the strategic growth of the company; he combines the production of all regular management and financial reports with forecasting, business planning and development responsibilities. David is responsible for compliance with group accounting policies and the on-going development of financial best-practice.
Nick Ewing, Director (Datacentre)
Nick is head of the Comtec datacentre business unit. He has over 10 years’ experience in the sector and at the heart of the solutions his team provides is a commitment to corporate social responsibility, as reflected in the implementation of data centre designs that are sensitive to environmental considerations, such as carbon capping.
Phil Reed, Technical Director
As Technical Director, Phil heads up a national team of ICT engineers that covers all our voice and data solutions. With over 25 years’ experience under his belt he is an expert in virtualisation and multi-site networks; Phil is also responsible for the Comtec operations centre that supports our clients’ hosted and managed service contracts.
Courtenay Mills, Director (Communications)
Courtenay is the driving force behind Comtec’s new voice platform and Ethernet data connectivity, backed by BT’s 21st Century Network infrastructure. His focus has always been the centralisation of the telephony estate, facilitating lightning-fast application deployment, ease of management, single routing and dial plan control, resulting in a lower TCO.
Jake Taylor, Sales Manager
Jake is responsible for the operation and management of the Comtec sales team. He is also responsible for some of our key partner relationships, including the development of all major accreditations. With over 10 years’ experience in companies such as Equanet, DSGi and Computercenter, Jake is also the corporate liaison for our general sales teams.
