im actually reading a book right now a scifi book set in the near future, one of the themes is people have autism and theres a cure for it but theyre offendedd by this cure and theres a technology that lets them communicate across the globe with other autists over the internet by blinking and making nerve twitch gestures and shit
and they hate aspies and high functioning autistics ("high funks" as they call them) because they say theyer not "real" auties
and the worst part is, autism is spreaidng in a worldwide plague :pwn:
