rockport. they can pass as a dress shoe if you don't look too close and they're built like hiking boots which is good for someone who hikes all weekend. they're incredibly durable but I walked so much the right one has a hole in it after only like a year. might try keen or ll bean next time.

i used to wear a keen sneaker with a steel toe when i worked in manhattan and all the retired cop camping and MRE enthusiasts gave me a lot of complements but admittedly i buy the discount sneakers that fall apart in 6 months
