tim your core is daamged your have a damaged core
never use that repair revocery menu it never works you need to go to the austlirain equvlivant of best buy and buy a new computer, my advice is get the one the salesman says is best, don't worry about the price either , it will more than pay for it self in dota2 items after a while
just buy a new motherboard. you could update this one but you run the risk of bricking it if you do it wrong, and your fsb/ram speeds probably wont match the new cpu, also it might very well be the board causing your core issue. mobos are cheap you should get a new one every time you upgrade.
did you pop it out inspect it for bent pins and burn marks etc then pop it back in with some thermal paste, it is very rare for them to go bad
mother boards go bad all the time, check the pcb for trace damange etc, alot of the time you can just reflow some of the soder and they work but since mother boards are not rare or cost alot i also just thorw them in a pile if they go bad
Tim can't find mobo for Sandy in retail, he has no choice
guess ill pull it apart and check it tomrrow, ugh, fucking with computers is so slow
Tim he's trying to help
could also be a power supply problem, as shit acts wacky when it's not getting the right power, get a multimeter and mesure the power at any chip, find the ground leg and any other leg,
dr evil stole tims mobo
omg your core is double posting now,
I am not in the slightest intimidated young man
first off, download this http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103
Prime95 has a feature called "Torture Test" that allows maximum stress testing on the CPU and RAM
Run along with CoreTemp

To find irregular value, if everything is fine, it should nbe MOBO problem
