There's no such thing as a spirit so it stands to reason that there is no such thing as a spiritual void. There is however a physical void, sex is a physical need and if you lose self respect by filling that very real physical need then you paid too much attention to whatever religious brainwashing you got when you were a kid. Feeling guilty about casual sex is just as dumb as feeling guilty for eating a twinkie when you're hungry.

I have hangups, and no they don't make sense to me. I still buy into the bullshit from sex-ed that when you screw someone you're screwing all the people they screwed, etc. I know it's bullshit but I can't help feeling icky about it.

And maybe you don't have a spirit but I certainly feel that I do. We'll just have to agree to disagree there... no convincing me otherwise, and probably no convincing you.

This belief that you're somehow damaging yourself spiritually by fulfilling a physical need is causing you harm and unnecessary stress, honestly idc what you choose to believe but you'd be much happier with a change in perspective.

I'm gonna take a new pic tuesday when I'm in my business suit and clean-shaven. I already got my hair cropped down to 1/2 in. and the past few months I've been combing it forward. It's too straight and short to make it messy except when I'm overdue for a haircut.

And neither of us were nice to each other about our appearances. Some things you just can't fake! But I've tried being nice to you about other things, and usually you only saw fit to pump me for info on people.
