We'd kick your stupid British asses in a war, therefore our way is the right way to speak English.
The problem with english is that we simplified the latin alphabet and removed all accents on our letters. If we kept the classical latin alphabet we may have had better and more similar pronounciation instead of the arbitrary rules we have today that forces certain combinations of letters to be confusing even to a native speaker.
I think the diverse approaches to reading english is a symptom of a shitty limited alphabet
we don't need more letters, we already have 2 useless ones we could afford to get rid of. C makes either the K sound or the S sound. X makes the KS sound. Fuck C and X.
kkklarissa
Caught - kawt
Beautiful - bewtiful
Bomb - bom
Psycho- syko
Knee growth- negrow
My point is though that if we taught accented letters to be pronounced a certain way we could stop deviations from pronounciation that we get with the flexibility forced upon a limited number of letters
Adjacent for example is supposed to be said ad-jay-sent despite simply being ad-ja-sent. This could be fixed by an accent i.e. adjącent
wait you pronounce the d in adjacent?
Saying it without the D is having a lazy tongue. Accents probably form due to an easier movement of tongue
ask your mum if my tongue is lazy
I guess thats why she nevet called you back
