no i didnt know that :monkaS:
hang on I managed to get it to load safe mode and its working im becoming a hacker :hax: what do i do now to get this bird out my comp
safe mode disables some drivers and startup applications
I don't know a lot about liquid cooling but it does sound like thermal shutdown so the cooling system is where I'd look, maybe the pump or whatever
Honestly liquid cooling is not necessary if you dont overclock. Fans last longer and liquid is only about 10 to 20 or so degrees cooler.
Observe the fans on your liquid cooler, listen closely to the pump if possible. What brand is it?
Also look at the graphics card fans and watch if they struggle to spin.
Check your temps in hwmonitor. Seriously i have a feeling you didnt and just played games. You can stress test with software like prime95 for cpu or furmark for gpu
Stress test with software, watch temps and fan speeds in hwmonitor, observe the open case on a desk or something. Video record it so we can look at the setup and possibly judge you for dust collected
Gamers... are the worst people in the world.
so I ended up just sending it into a computer repair store so some nerds can look through my history and report me to the police for saying nigger on the internet and it turned out the graphics card had sagged down a bit and the thing it connects into the motherboard with had bent which was causing a tanty in the motherboard I guess so they ordered me a new one (GTX 1080) and so that it doesnt get bent like the last one they literally just put cable ties around it lmao
this some nigger rigged shit fam smh but the real meme is the retards who made it in the first place (inb4 this is me and you can buy some sort of plastic shelf for it thats common knowledge when getting a new comp) not putting in any way to support a heavy ass graphics card properly that's just dangling in mid-air on one side

lol zotac ruby's poor
the screw is supposed to keep it from stressing the motherboard, whoever built your system fucked up
Also lol at your all in one liquid cpu cooler, lol when the pump fails and your house goes alight
Isnt that alienware? If it’s third alienware, I would feel weird.
I didnt select it, they did and I just paid for it
I asked if I should wait for the RTX 2080 Ti or whatever to come out and they said it was overpriced bs with functionality that no one would ever have their comp or game make the most of or even notice but I considered it only because fuckbois like you would get triggered if I dropped a grand on a graphics card
would that hold for the 5 years I've had it for?
I remember choosing between a 1 year one and a 5 year one and I forget which one I chose but it doesnt matter as of literally today
will it explode like the computers in die hard 4?
it's not, I only had one alienware in 2010 (I had to use it when this was in the shop, rip all the programs on it that dont even exist anymore like aim, msn and yahoo messenger) here's what my current Gaming Rig™ is

64 gigs of ram is insanely too much. 16 gigs is where its at atm but most games dont need it. Youre 48 gigs overkill buddy.
Also the waterr cooling wont cause an electrical fire, pump is just a point of failure. If it ever stopped working you would just deal with instant shutdowns due to cpu overheating.
Rtx is dumb. 1080 ti does everything you could want. Unless youre going 4k monitor then just get two 1080 ti. Ray tracing wont be good until the next series 2100 comes out dont waste money on it it doesn't work well with this new hardware
Rtx 2080 ti with ray trCing on 60 hertz 1080p struggles to get 60 fps... let that sink in.. stupid tech should have been held off for another generation
Steffies still thinks his pc is better than yours
alright the weird chirping and revving noises came back but I've managed to find out where it's coming from, it's one of the fans ontop of my computer tower :mysterysolved: seems to be dying or has something stuck in it
how do I get this thing to shut the fuck up? it seems to be apart of or directly above the liquid cooling system or whatever this thing is on the top with the two BBCs coming out of it

inb4 the faggots at the computer repair store ripped me off and I didn't need a new graphics card at all
either something is stuck in it restricting free movement or the ball bearing is breaking/leaked it's lubricant... you need to find an appropriate replacement. what model closed loop cooler is that? should be able to find an exact or similar replacement online, unscrew the radiator, take the fan off and unplug it, and put the new one in it's plug/place. its a very easy task, just make sure you dont have the power unit plugged in and touch metal on the case to discharge any static electricity. if you zap a ROM chip on the board you could accidentally wipe it's memory and brick the motherboard. dont touch chips willy nilly especially if youre on carpet.
ROM chips hold the firmware to your hardware, they are various sizes looking like this just as a reference. i havnt bothered to look at how they store data but a strong enough zap could rearrange the information in them to unstable or useless.
