other than maing sure slavery remains legal and taking away states rights to determine its legality for themselves, the confederate constitution is prety much the same as the US constitution. it has a few differences such as giving the President a line item veto (giving the executive branch of the federal government more power, lol). it did grant a few new rights to states such as the right to issue bills of credit or the right to tax ships traveling between states, but they also lose the right to institute interstate taxes and tariffs lol
