my interface is exactly teh same as 7/vista/xp etc if there's any differences I'm not seeing them this is exactly the same as using any previous windows except faster

I don't want the same interface as Windows 7. I want nothing but a taskbar or dock with a search bar on it. I'm sure it can be done in 8, but it's not really worth it because in the end I'd still be running fucking windows.

I don't see any really compelling reason to upgrade, I really only use Win 7 for gaming and considering that 8 is essentially the new Vista it would be a waste of time learning all the ins and outs when they're going to be rushing win 9 to market in a year or two

its the same only its faster and has a few new features and an awful user itnerface

no noticable differences for casual users once you get the start menu back

it boots a lot faster

yeah even my instructor was talking shit about windows 8 and i was like "uh dude windows 8 is like windows 7 but even better" and he just wouldnt get over the interface and then said it was too much like windows 7 and he'd wait for windows 9

most people aren't going to revert the interface back, and then, Oh Boy! millions of computer users accustomed to a shitty interface who can't do dick and have to be spoon-fed by corporations

if it wasn't a diabolical plot by microsoft, they would have kept the old interface as optional, just a setting you can switch on/off instead of having to download something to change it back

Not to mention the main thing microsoft had going for it in its competition with apple was the more intelligible interface of Windows.
They gave that up to try and stay on the curve with Apple, but they're not going to be able to beat Apple at their own game.

It's like Microsoft almost had Apple in checkmate, panicked, fucked up and missed an important move, and now Apple just wormed its way out of it
