plug drugs is a fucking moron who would be lost without the GUI, he might as well be an aol user
i can look things up and do them in DOS when i have to; throwing out the GUI for windows increases the gap between your average user and someone who knows what they're doing in DOS, and you fucking know it
oh, that's right, it's more beneficial for you if people don't know what they're doing on computers, so you can profit and leech off them you fucking parasite
Don't try to deflect this back onto me, you're in here whining that windows 8 will breed a new generation of idiots who don't understand the basic principles behind what they're doing, meanwhile windows already did that 20 years ago and you're one of the idiots it bred, you hypocrite.
I hate how those parasites at jiffy lube charge a reasonable price to change peoples oil for them, their customers will never know the glory and the satisfaction of getting covered in oil themselves and are clearly being taken advantage of

yep, it's not hard but it's probably beyond your abilityQuote:
and are you implying you have all of DOS memorized and never have to look anything up?
TYPE B.TXT>>A.TXT
APPEND/?
yep looks like a gui to me, you're so smart I guess I was wrong

also you're totally right about wolfenstein being a gui because a game is absolutely a user interface
well i told you how to append text from one file to another file, big woop,
when i looked it up, i saw the echo "text" >> filename.txt command but thought "nah that's not what he's looking for"
you had to look up an incredibly basic and simple task pretty much proved my point riht now
You mean the one where I posted a screenshot of the Lynx web browser? I saw that, it's text mode and you navigate via keyboard commands there's nothing graphical about it, dipshit
so by your metric dos is a GUI too
also, that browser was a GUI because there was a highlighted blue bar for your selection and an up/down function
In computing,[1] graphical user interface (GUI, sometimes pronounced 'gooey')[2] is a type of user interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices using images rather than text commands.
in other words pretty pictures, like every OS you've ever used
