the head spreader screws (they're actually hex I think) have a specific torque spec and retail chip boxes come with a special torque wrench to put them on, I guess to avoid people putting the screws in unevenly? maybe that was a problem?
ryzens are huge so I guess it would make sense if it's harder to get the heat sink mounted evenly
I don't really remember the specifics I watched a video when the chip first launched and I haven't had to deal with one irl yet
