the windows 10 release was a clusterfuck, we need to build 2 VM's so our devs can start working on a metro app so I checked microsoft's volume licensing store and everything I found was "OMG FREE UPGRADE!!" so I called a few stores and every single one was all "durr don't you know it's a free upgrade" so I settled on buying 8.1 and upgrading it, called staples, made sure they had it, went down there, they had empty boxes, then at the register the kid is all "well we don't actually have it because windows 10 was released but DID YOU KNOW IT'S A FREE UPGRADE???" so I was like "just what the fuck do you expect me to upgrade asshole" and I stabbed him in the throat and raped the chick at the next register and burned the fucking store down. you'll probably hear about it on the news.

turns out it is available on the windows store but not in any obvious place christ I fucking hate microsoft it's like they don't even want me to buy their shit

did you make sure the computer was plugged in?

the worst part is our devs are only going to be using windows 10 for like 3 months until server 2015 comes out
