idk marks windows 8 works fine for everything there's no extra clicks and lots of people use classic shell on windows 7 too because it was actually made for windows 7
if your clients are too dumb to figure out 8 is the same as all previous windows just tell them to use 7
i dont use Opera to be different. i use it because its the best. ive been using it since highschool when the only notable alternatives were internet explorer and firefox which had (ands till has) memory leakage issues. Opera has no such issues and has better compliance with web development standards.

mine has 16-4 and I can run two browsers second life convert video upload to YouTube listen to Google music and tell ruby to buy me games on steam and it uses at most 50% of my 12 gigs
it's mind boggling how people like dp and marks have computer jobs but at the same time when's the last time you met a person with a computer job who had any idea what they were doing so I guess it's no surprise
oh and also download and seed judge judy and days of our lives and I really do all that at once without any problems and under 50% of my ram being used
and I didn't touch a single thing on windows 8 besides installing that start menu, it's just perfect by default
and it's been really good since day one I've been using it since the first beta even back then it was great
the only 'problem' I had with vista was my sound drivers which vista literally popped up a direct link to the exe for them I didn't have to search vista actually got them for me
I used vista 7 and 8 all since day one there was no performance difference between vista and 7 but man you can notice the speed with 8
