excuse me op, i am running windows 8 right now on my desktop, it does not suck. it is better than windows 7 in every way except it lacks a start menu but tbh i dont even miss it

I didn't have a single problem even on vista, on this same desktop, but I can definitely say windows 8 is the fastest OS ever made and made this 2008 dinosaur I've got here run like it's not even supposed to be available yet but at the end of the day no matter the OS you still need a government supercomputer to run second life in max graphics so w/e

it's good on tablets. but for desktops or laptops it's dumb.

oh if you can actually output sound through a graphics card well I hate to break it to ya but you couldn't pay me to do that because you see I enjoy having speakers that aren't imbedded into a tv and stuff see the back of my computer you've got the dvi wire that goes to my monitor that doesn't have any speakers built in because that's stupid, and then another wire going to my speakers, from my sound card, because why the fuck ugh man what is wrong with you people
my current graphics card doesn't have hdmi ports anyway, and my next one unless the newest cards ALL come with hdmi ports only if dvi is completely gone then that's the only way I won't have dvi for my brand new 2014 top of the line everything rig either
because you see, that's stupid, why put that extra stress on the graphics card when there's not only built-in audio on motherboards but slots where you can put super high quality sound cards nobody has managed to make sense of this yet and they never will not one person has given me any reason to even consider such a thing
btw to catch everyone up I got an LED monitor and it's fucking amazing it's made by acer it was super on sale at newegg IT DOESN'T EVEN GET HOT
i had a feeling steveyos would come in here to talk about 'classic shell' after he posted that pic of his desktop. too fucking funny. thats definitely what i want to look at when im using my computer, a little cartoon shell in the corner like my OS is the little mermaid OS. when you click the shell does sebastian come out and play under the sea in MIDI? you 'poor unforuntate soul' steveyos (lol, reference from LITTLE MERMAID). for some reason you just go fucking nuts every time theres a new operating system, remember when you were busting your nut over how amazing windows 7 was, and then you were like 'windows 7 sucks' a week later only go juggle from ubuntu to windows 7 about 30 times? i guess now youve finally found the perfect OS, one that you have to install disney software to make it even remotely function properly.
