ive been playing since '03 i dont just have hours logged, i probably have years logged, or at least 100+ days of playtime
just because i played dota 1 first, and dont have many matches logged on dota 2, they think theyre better than me??? hrmph

i have to pull a bunch of 2k ram chips today on a pcb that's older than me, and then reburn the emproms on new chips and reset them(along with sockets of course) so i can play space invaders ok, that's what you call a hardcore gamer,

dota 1 is super casual shit,

its the same fucking game, dota 2 is actually less good than dota 1 because the only thing thats really different are giant laggy menu screens like a hero selection screen and a giant shop menu that pops up and tells you what the recommended items are if youre an ultra-casual little kiddy playing

the maps are also identical, even the tree placement is the exact same.. the only thing i can think of thats different is the fountain region in each team's base; there used to be trees behind it so if it was the end of the game and pudge kept hooking you out and killing your team or something, you could buy tangos and go hide in the woods
