Jacob Garfield, 26, a lifelong resident of Thorndale, died Saturday after a short illness. He is survived by his parents, Liz Wilson Garfield and Lyman Garfield, and predeceased by a brother, Nermal. Services will be held at Condra Funeral Home on Wednesday between the hours of 10 AM and 1 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Jacob's name to the Texas Spinal Surgery Center.
