I got fired from Gamestop today (I don't work there)

I stopped in the local Gamestop on the way home from work today to check out the post-holiday sales. I was still wearing my golf shirt and lanyard, and even though it's not a Gamestop ID and my shirt was the wrong color I guess this woman thought I worked there. She asked me for a price on one of the Pop Vinyl figures. I told her I had no idea. She called me lazy and stupid and asked to see my manager. I said "Ok, but you'll have to go across the mall to the store I actually work at!". She did, she complained to my manager that I didn't help her at a different store. We both had a good laugh at that one. I have no idea what she was thinking.

That happened to me once at a Walmart! I don't even know how, I was wearing a tie and suit jacket so I certainly don't look the part. The lady didn't get mad though. I told her I'm a statistician and helped her find an actual Walmart associate 8)
