06-20-2014To get around this major barrier of entry, PLAY AGAINST THE BOTS WHEN YOU FIRST START. The Bots will not rage at you, they won’t care if you feed. They will teach you the heroes by destroying you with them, and no one has to know.

06-20-2014although when I first started Dota 2, I wasn't using teleport scrolls or couriers, which you could get away with in shitty warcraft 3 pubs which still had casual dota players coming in from other games. In Dota 2 you can't get away with that, and I now play dota properly
