and the line, "Are you breathing? No." really gets to me because my grandfather died from a hole in his trachea due to throat cancer, and the hole connected his esophagus with the tube going to his lungs, and whenever he ate food it went into his lungs and he died from asphyxiation.
So for some reason, hearing a song about hearing voices (he was schizophrenic, and would talk about the craziest shit, like he told me I was chinese and if I ever told the French they would kill me because I was French royalty and shit like that) combined with the line "Are you breathing? No." seems like some strange synchronicity, as if the world set out to make me depressed personally
