If you work game development as freelancer in australian web services such like freelancer.com, 99designs.con, envato.com, etc. did they overcharge you than other web services weren't running by australians? I had bad experience with freelancer.com that client forced me to register it and I found it's surprising abusive charging to me like fee for everything as accepting the project for $ 3000, they charge you $ 300 as 10% when job is not done, no disable renewal membership. Besides 99designs take you 40% of commision if you are winner, envato will take away your available funds after of deposit since 1 year. Unlike odesk and elance, also some people are from australia are telling game developers to sell the book about business + game development tells you how to add ads, every content are less than 90 pages for $ 29.95. I didn't you believe you earn like $ 20,000 per month by HTML5 game, I will not link about book here.
There no info about australian web services are trying to earn a lot of money for lies and without our consent. For majority.
I'm not trying to hate Australia, I'm believing how they want to trick the freelancers from different country.

1. you don't charge someone based on which tool you choose
2. embedded systems, where C is traditionally needed, pays more than that
3. i already make just under that and i don't have to do anything near as hard
4. my contract rate is more than twice that
