his scripts are in /var/www where they belong but it should be running as an unprivileged user so if I do get shell access I can't do any damage. someone needs to school sid on best practices.

It only can exceute external programs and display output, which is not really useful

you can absolutely do what poopalew does, in php, from the command line. just use curl to scrape the threads and submit posts, easy enough. in fact I'm not even sure what he's doing with apache in the first place, maybe using it for control/config?

About Apache, is just HTTP library to work with PHP

if m0nde learns how to use node.js and phantomjs, for example, so he can gather all friend photos and save in dir by executing one simple command like
