show-n-tell: i went to FJS and here's what i brought back.

so in case you were unaware, steveyos has his own forum. it's likely you've never checked it out, since it mostly consists of steveyos and Juji talking to each other back and forth. Very entertaining stuff.. but alas it is definitely dying and I wanted to bring some of the ruins over here for historical and archival purposes.

upon entering, here is page one of 2fjs forums.



NOW, it is quite clear steveyos has probably been lurking around here, or has some buddies who insisted that FJS play catch-up to rubynet, and have fun videochatting via tinychat. A stickied thread asks whether FJS should have a tinychat.

- The longest thread at the moment seems to be steveyos talking about how much he loves his tablet computer.

- The second longest thread is some sort of threat in which steveyos demands I become active there or he will 'delete my account'. Yikes!

- The most thought-provoking thread is awarded to steveyos, in which he asks 'what planet would you wanna live on'.

A thread not created by steveyos looks interesting, its called 'bats keep hitting my windows'

now first thing you notice is its really hard to tell what's content and what's forum elements etc. A thorough cleaning up using adblock plus element hiding helper will help bring out what i'm actually supposed to be reading in this thread.



wow once you clean up the clutter this actually looks like a pretty decent forum with some really interesting content to read.
