A complete & intact, shrunken, desiccated tiny lil frog, on the carpet. It's probably been on the floor like that for weeks.

Here's what I want to know:

Why would a baby frog enter my residence?
From whence did it come? The closest water source is about 800 yds away
Why didn't the dog do something about it either when it was alive or dead
Why did it mummify instead of rotting
How can I clear the area of the presence of additional baby frogs?
Is it complicit with the five-lined skinks that have been caught trespassing in my house previously?
