Psy has opened up about his drinking habits in a new interview with The Sunday Times Magazine.

"If I'm happy, I'm drinking, if I'm sad, I'm drinking. If it's raining, I'm drinking, if it's sunny, I'm drinking," the K-pop singer explained. Asked when he refrains from drinking, Psy replied: "When I'm hungover", before admitting this happens "a lot".

He also revealed that his tipple of choice is Korean vodka, describing it as his "best friend" and "vice partner", but said that he'll happily knock back "whisky, vodka, tequila, whatever".

During the interview, Psy also revealed that early on in his career, he resisted record company suggestions to change his appearance with plastic surgery. "I got famous with this kind of body! Most celebrities are skinnier than me or taller than me and have smaller faces than me or bigger eyes than me," he said.

Earlier this month (July), Psy's YouTube channel notched up its three billionth view, making him only the third popstar to pass the three billion mark after Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, Psy has recently hinted that he's planning a collaboration with Queen guitarist Brian May after the pair scheduled a brunch meeting while Psy was over in the UK last month.
