i-doser, you're supposed to pay lots of money to download tracks (or get em free off soulseek) which consist of binaural beats that they claim will affect your brain. there's like 100 different ones and they're called shit like "cocaine", "heroin", "meth", "brain boost", "lucid dream" etc and supposedly have that effect

the theory behind binaural beats is proven, but the idea of using it to produce drug effects is probably just a scam for kids who've never seen drugs and are susceptible to placebo effect. either way it didn't stop the media & parenting groups from going into conniption fits over it
