I don't have experience or knowledge enough to answer that question in a good way that isn't an insult to your intelligence (as in, answers like, "That's just how things are."). I would suggest making another thread to ask that question.
Although, I'm still comfortable with giving a basic answer, saying that God made our bodies a specific way, and made diseases a specific way, to do specific things. Some diseases are curable under current medical advancements, and some aren't. Maybe that means there will be a cure, and maybe that means there never will be. What we can be certain of is that God preordained everything to happen for a reason, according to His purpose. Someone doesn't get a terrible disease because God turned around and they accidentally got sick.

So, again, I think you should ask this question in a different post. There's a Facebook group called Reformed Pub that I know is a reliable, intelligent, and Godly community. It is also a closed group, so only people within the group can see your question, in case that's a concern. Of course, there's also this subreddit, /r/reformedfightclub (which I don't think this is controversial enough for), and /r/Christianity (which I don't think is as reliable as the other groups mentioned).
I truly hope you are able to find a good answer to your question, brother.
